The Wall Street Journal Gives Rave Review of Heartbreak House

“I last saw Heartbreak House three years ago on Broadway in a big-budget version . . . . This one is better – vastly so,” says theatre critic Terry Teachout in his review of the Peterborough Players Heartbreak House in The Wall Street Journal.

The review, which came out on August 21st, highly praises Director Gus Kaikkonen’s staging of the production, as well as the performances of all of the cast members. Playwright George Bernard Shaw’s expert method of skewering the social classes with great wit and charm is lauded.
