Sadler Colley Bakst

Actress, writer and director, Sadler Colley Bakst is an upcoming senior at Poughkeepsie Day School. When she was ten years old, she played the roles of Jan in Grease! and General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls. Between 1999 and 2001, she played Malvolio and Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Prince Hal in Henry IV and the title role in Othello. As a sophomore, Sadler produced and directed a staged version of Spoon River Anthology at her school. Last summer, she was accepted as an apprentice to the Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College and in May, she held the first reading of her new play, Lovehead. Sadler is too happy to be here and would like to thank her folks and Gus. (2003)
