Peterborough Players 2009 Annual Meeting February 14
Peterborough, NH (January 30, 2009) – The Peterborough Players will hold its 2009 Annual Meeting at 6:30 PM Saturday, February 14, at the Peterborough Players Theatre, 55 Hadley Road, Peterborough. The formal purpose of the meeting is to elect trustees for the year 2009 and announce the 2009 season, while the informal purpose is to have a good time!
All who have an interest in the Players are invited. Voting members of the corporation are considered to be those who made a cash contribution to the company in 2008, purchased a subscription in 2008, or have purchased a ticket to a 2008 production.
– Reception begins at 6:30 PM, Saturday, Feb. 14.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks
will be served.
– The Annual Meeting begins at 7:00 PM. The entire evening is
free of charge.
– To reserve a spot, call the Players Box Office at 924-7585.
In addition to voting on new trustees, outgoing trustees Jack Lewis of Dublin and Stephen Meyers of Jaffrey will be recognized for their contributions to the Players. Board President Richard Hance of Peterborough will review the 2008 season. Treasurer Jack Lewis of Dublin will present a financial review of 2008, and will explain highlights of the 2009 budget. Development Chair Jim Borsari of Peterborough will discuss the Players 2009 fundraising campaign. Finally, Managing Director, Keith Stevens will announce the 2009 Season.
