Kirby Ward

(Man 2, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change) This is Kirby’s debut with the Peterborough Players. Kirby originated the role of Bobby Child in the London Premier of Crazy For You. He’s been seen on Broadway as Frank in Show Boat, as well as roles in Never Gonna Dance and Woman of the Year. He’s performed all over the world, playing such roles as Billy Buck in My One & Only, Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain, Herod in JC Superstar, Vernon in They’re Playing Our Song, George Cohan in George M, Billy Bibbitt in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and the Top Banana in Sugar Babies. Kirby is also a director and choreographer, and his original short film, Down in the Mouth, has been a favorite in film festivals around the country, winning the best short film at the Kent Film Festival in Connecticut (www.downinthemouthmovie.com).
