The Peterborough Players will hold its 2003 Annual Meeting at 6:30 PM Saturday, February 15, at the theatre, 55 Hadley Road, Peterborough. The formal purpose of the meeting is to elect officers and ratify trustees for the year 2003. While all who have an interest in the Players are invited, voting members of the corporation are considered anyone who made a cash contribution to the company in 2002, anyone who purchased a subscription in 2002, or anyone who purchased a ticket to a 2002 production.

In addition to voting on new officers, who will be presented by Board Development chair Bob Rue of Peterborough, outgoing trustees Michelle Marshall of Hancock and Wendy Almeida of New Ipswich will be recognized for their contributions to the Players. Board President Gary Armstrong of Harrisville and Managing Director Keith Stevens will review the 2002 season. Treasurer Bart Goodeve of Sharon will present a financial review of 2002 and will explain highlights of the 2003 budget. Fundraising Chair Bob Pettegrew of Hancock will discuss the Players 2003 Annual Fund campaign. Armstrong will talk about the theatre’s Strategic Plan, leading to the 75th Anniversary Season in 2008. Stevens will close the discussion with the announcement of the 2003 70th Anniversary Season.

Following the meeting, a musical cabaret will be presented by past and present Players. Bob Pettegrew will accompany Stephanie Hurley; Ray Sweeney will accompany Piper Goodeve and Kathy Manfre; and Paul Coffey will sing and play guitar.

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with a reception in the Great Room of the theatre. Substantial hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening, and an open bar will be provided. The Annual Meeting will begin at 7:00, and the cabaret will follow after a short break. The entire evening is free of charge.
