One Man, Two Guvnors October 1st
Peterborough, NH (September 13, 2011) – The Peterborough Players will broadcast four of London’s National Theatre plays, beginning Saturday, October 1, at 1:00PM, with One Man, Two Guvnors, by Richard Bean. London’s National Theatre is widely considered to be among the best of British theatre. Recorded live via satellite, the Peterborough Players will broadcast the National Theatre productions, as they were recorded, on Saturday afternoons.
One Man, Two Guvnors is based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, with songs by Grant Olding. In Richard Bean’s English version of Goldoni’s classic Italian comedy, sex, food, and money are high on the agenda.
