Sara W. Germain

Sara W. Germain joined the Players' staff in January 2001. Previously, she was Development Coordinator and Manager of the Robert S. Peabody Museum in Andover, Mass., for eight years, and for twenty years an arts management consultant and project director. She served as the Executive Director and registered lobbyist for ARTS 1000: New Hampshire Citizens for the Arts from 1985-1990; Director of the Cambridge River Festival in 1986 and 1982; and Coordinator of Logistics for Harvard University's 350th anniversary "Floating Birthday Party" in 1986. From 1977-81, she was Executive Director of the Grand Monadnock Arts Council in Keene, where she created and coordinated a variety of cultural programs and services for the region. Sara served on the Board of Trustees of the Players from 1980-82. She and her family moved to the Monadnock Region in 1976, and first subscribed to the Players in 1977. After twenty years spending school years in Andover, Mass., Sara and her husband Ed returned to live full-time in Dublin. Sara graduated from the University of Michigan and attended Oberlin College, where she was a member of the Oberlin Players' summer stock company.(2002)
